Body-based practice

Come back down into your body.

You have thought about it enough. Here we work with what the body already knows (breath, ground, pace) until the noise upstairs quiets on its own.

Confidential, nothing you share goes further than this exchange

A session, slowly

How a session goes

1

Arriving

A few minutes to land, noticing the chair, the feet, the breath. Nothing to perform.

2

Listening to the body

Where the week has settled, shoulders, jaw, stomach. The body keeps better notes than the mind.

3

Working

Breath, grounding, movement or stillness, whatever the day calls for, at a pace your system accepts.

4

Taking it home

One small practice for the week, two minutes, somewhere in your day. Small and done beats big and skipped.

Who walks with you

A practitioner who practises

I teach nothing I do not do myself every morning. The training is real (certifications, supervision, continuing education) and so is the practice: breath before breakfast, ground before screens.

Some sessions happen in the room, some walking under the park's trees. The body often talks more easily when the feet are busy.

What people ask first

How many sessions will I need?

Most people come between three and eight times, spaced two to three weeks apart. We review together every few sessions, and stopping is always a decision you own, there are no packages to finish and no subscriptions.

Are sessions reimbursed?

National health insurance does not cover this type of session. Many private health plans do reimburse part of the cost under well-being or prevention benefits, check your plan, and I will give you a dated receipt after every session to send in.

What happens during the first session?

Mostly, we talk: what brings you, what you have already tried, what you want to change. We usually end with one short practical exercise so you feel what the work is like. You leave with a clear proposal (number of sessions, rhythm, price) and no obligation to continue.

Is this a replacement for medical care?

No, and it is never presented as one. These sessions complement medical care: I will never suggest stopping a treatment or skipping a consultation, and when something you describe calls for a doctor, I say so plainly.

Should I choose in person or online?

The structure is identical and so is the price. In person suits body-focused work and first meetings; video works remarkably well for sleep and stress sessions, from the home where your evenings actually happen. Many people alternate, pick whichever removes the most friction this week.

What if I need to cancel?

Life happens. Cancel or move your appointment up to 24 hours ahead at no charge, a text message is enough. Appointments cancelled at the last minute are charged, because that hour was held for you.

A few words are enough. I answer within a working day, and the first session is just a conversation, shoes on, nothing strange.
